Manic Monday:Roadtrip

Mondays seem to always have this feeling to me. I rarely jump out of bed on Monday morning and get excited about work like I do on Fridays. This morning was no exception. Hubs and I had a great weekend out of town, with the exception of a few ups and downs. Monday came too quick I wanted more time relaxing and laying around with Hubs.

If you follow me on Instagram you have probably already seem all of these pictures. If you don't, then you should @lderrick

ROADTRIP...

On the way to Houston

Our first stop, hubs lived in the area for a few years and he has always talked about these chili dogs. I guess its kinda like me and In-N-Out.

 He ate a total of 5 of them Friday, plus a side of chili cheese fries and then a side of Chili Cheese Tots.I feel that I am safe to say we will not have a repeat performance for many years to come.

We took in an Astros game, and they won! Thank you hubs for getting us perfect seats!

 Our perfect view!

 A little back yard Jenga anyone!We have too much fun. I'm thinking about making these for my parents and brothers for Christmas next year. {can you remind me of that when I'm frantic around the holidays?}

This is where the trip took a turn. We spend a day lounging around the hotel, working out, watch TV {which we don't have at home} and reading books. About mid-day my stomach started to hurt and the rest is history. Although we had a fun dinner{which I couldn't stand to smell much less eat} on the Kemah Boardwalk, I spent the rest of the evening feeling terrible and ended up sitting on the floor of the bathroom. You know what I'm talking about.

Sunday we got up and slowly made our way home, still not feeling the best we took it easy and made it to evening church. I love spending time the man in my life, could have passed on the icky part though.

Yes, Its a car, it was parked outside the grocery store in Downtown Houston.
